FROM A FIVE-STAR INVITE FOR DRINKS TO A PREMIUM GARNISH BRAND

A few years ago I was working in a Yorkville marketing agency. My colleague and one of our suppliers said that I absolutely had to come with them to the d | bar lounge in the
Four Seasons Toronto Hotel. And there was apparently a very good reason.....

As we were sitting down they were excitedly saying that we had to order an Old Fashioned and that the cocktail cherries were excellent. The supplier guy ordered for all of us and asked for SIX cherries each. Waaaay overboard but each drink arrived with two sticks of three cherries. So delicious - I had never had anything other than the bright red neon cherries before.

I was hooked but couldn't find them anywhere. Until I finally did, then found wholesalers and because of my background in ecommerce, created a Shopify site called www.thecherrystore.ca.
 

I hustled evenings and weekends to find a variety of suppliers and brands and the site has been quite popular.

Then I had an idea to create something that was amazing for the end customer or guest but would also benefit the restaurant, bar, distillery or retailer that I've moved forward with.....
